AMORPHOPHALLIS PAEONIIFOLIUS
This plant along with other aroides from various tropical areas of Asia is one of the the botanical curiosities of the the world of horticulture. It often blooms with no foliage at the beginning of its season. They mostly come from areas with seasonal droughts. Often called "Carrion Plants" the flower is large and smells of rotting flesh to attrack flies and other insects who are attrracted to such odors. The fly provides the method of polination. We often offer A. bulbifer and A. konjac in our catalogue each year. Check these listings out.
