CYCAS REVOLUTA "THE SAGO PALM"

Cycas revoluta is one of the most popular of the species of cycads used in ornamental horticulture. It is slow, but easy to grow and tolerates the worst of conditions inside when not actively growing. We are offering at this time a cousin to the Cycas, Zamia furfuracea, "The Cardboard Palm," In the same line we are well known for having a great display at the greenhouses of these fabulous plants. The African cousins, the Encephalartos, are truly imposing plants. Encephalartos horridus is blue leaved with recurved habit, each leaf being armed with fierce-looking spines. In the summer we have several species often ready for sale.
