ENCEPHALARTOS HORRIDUS

This plant is among the most sought after of the cycads. Luckily enough seed growing colonies are being created to make this plant more available to the average collector. It is another plant from the age of the dinosaurs. The blue color makes it one of the most stunning of house and conservatory plants. Some cycads have lived for centuries.
