JASMINUM SPECIES, CONFEDERATE STAR

The jasmines are famous and some of the most sought after plants in the plant kingdom. They are most often white bloomers, sometimes yellow, sometimes pink or reddish, but always fragrant. There are a coupld species where the fragrance is not the primary concern, but most of the species listed in our pages are among the most delightful for house plant growing and wonderful aromas. The most successfully grown is the Pitake or sambac jasmine, but the species here as well as some other varieties and cultivars are well worth the effort.
