This plant originally came in from one of our Japanese plant collectors in the mid eighties. It is a very compact plant with good variegation showing up on older plants as distinctive gold/tan. The plant stays very tuncate.

It grows in south Africa and it often watered by melting show at the tops of mountains. This Aloe needs to be planted in very well drained soil. It is often perched between rocks sometimes with very little real soil. Its mature form is positively amazing, a true sprial form. Available this year in limited numbers. The first photo shows the plant that you will get. The other photos show different more mature forms.

Very nice caudex forming plant for the collector of odd caudiciforms or Madagascar plant collector. Very odd member of the Pedaliaceae Family. These are younger plants just forming their caudex. A great price for a rare plants. Leaves are fuzzy.
